Rich DeFelice
Rich brings over 15 years experience in mergers & acquisitions. Prior to founding Pointer Capital, Rich was a Principal at Main line Equity Partners where he worked across the entirety of the deal lifecycle from initial origination through due diligence and closing. Rich ran the investment committee and provided post-close operational support to portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Main Line Equity Partners, Rich worked in Strategy and Corporate Development at Westinghouse where he worked on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures ranging in size from $500,000 through $300 million. His other experience includes investment banking with Ventura Group and consulting with Charles River Associates, where he specialized in valuation, litigation, and forensic accounting services.
Rich graduated valedictorian from Carnegie Mellon University where he received an M.B.A. in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Strategy. He graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a B.S. in Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems.

Walter Stoecklein
Walter Stoecklein began his career when he and his brother, Bernard, purchased CMS West, Inc. in 1977. During Walter's time as an owner of CMS West, the company grew from owning its original 11 cemeteries to owning and operating 36 cemeteries, 16 funeral homes, nursing homes, apartment complexes, and a health and fitness club. Also, under CMS West ownership was a Penndot-approved cement manufacturing facility that produced items used for roadways as well as for cemeteries and funeral homes. CMS West grew further when it formed Semper Construction, which built townhouses, office buildings, and residential homes. Under Walter's leadership, the company grew to employ over 500 individuals. In 1997, Walter and his brother sold CMS West, Inc. to Lowen Corporation, a public company in Canada. In 1998, Walter partnered with PW Campbell Contracting Co. to form Pyramid Cemetery Construction which was granted patents for its specialized processes for building custom mausoleums. In the early 2000's, Walter and his business partner established start-up company Memory Medallion, Inc., a computer software company that uses its patented QR bar codes to specialize in providing personalized remembrance to cemeteries, funeral homes, family reunion organizations, genealogical and historical societies and monument dealers.
Walter grew up in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 1973. He continued his education at Westminster College graduating in 1977 with degrees in Business and Art. He has been married to Shelley for 37 years and has three daughters, Jessica, Meredith and Katherine, and one grandson.
